The Paris of the South has always been known as a music Mecca to those who visit its cultural confines. The Musicians who hail from Paris and call it home have created some of the most expressive and nurturing art the World has known.

From Amy Grant to Bloodkin to Jesse Norman to Sir James Brown, the Paris of the South lives through it’s music.

Each month the staff of Boiled Peanut Radio, “we get you high the legal way”, will ask one Parisian selected for their knowledge of fine music to list their top 7 albums and artists that they suggest for their Parisian brothers and sisters to own. This is not a top ten list of of all time favorites but rather a top seven of music that fills the hearts of Parisians with joy and spreads the good word of different artists you may have not heard.
